How it works

1. Sign up

Enter your first name and last name, choose your division and country, and enter the shared team passcode from the organizer. Your name is your identity on the leaderboard. Names are case-insensitive, but duplicate names are not allowed.

2. Predict every match

Pick an exact scoreline (e.g. 2–1) for any of the World Cup matches. You can update your pick any time — until 1 hour before the match start time (kick-off). Once that lock time is reached, predictions are frozen.

3. Score points

  • +1 point — you correctly pick the winner (or a draw).
  • +2 bonus points — you nail the exact scoreline.
  • So an exact-score pick is worth 3 points total.

4. Pick visibility

  • You can always see your own picks.
  • Other players' picks are hidden until a match is locked — this happens 1 hour before kick-off.
  • Once a match is locked (or finished), everyone's picks for that match become visible to all users.
  • The organizer (admin) can always view all picks at any time.

5. Leaderboard & Ranking

Points are awarded as soon as admin updates a result. Click any player's name on the leaderboard to see a full breakdown of how they earned their points.

Tie-breaking rules (applied in order, so ranks always go 1, 2, 3, 4…):
  1. Highest total points.
  2. Most exact-score hits (3-point picks).
  3. Earliest first pick — whoever locked in their first prediction earlier ranks higher.

6. Winner

Whoever tops the leaderboard after the Final wins the pool.

Tips

  • Don't forget knockout matchups — they are worth the same.
  • Even a wild scoreline pays off if you're right.
  • Locked out of a match? It happens — focus on the next one.
